The Hayward 3″ PVC True-Union Y-Strainer (YS10300TU) is engineered for longevity in demanding fluid systems. Its rugged PVC construction stands up to pool chemicals, UV, and corrosive conditions. The true-union threaded union feature allows quick disassembly for cleaning without cutting piping, and the internal 1⁄32" screen protects downstream equipment from debris. Installation Tips

Use PTFE tape or an approved sealant on union threads. Observe the flow direction arrow. Do not overtighten union nuts. In vertical mounting, orient the cap downward to allow drainage and cleaning access.
