How Do I Extend the Life of My Pool Equipment?

This is a great question to have, and we are here to help answer it so you can have a better understanding of what it takes to accomplish it. Our friends at Waterco designed an award-winning Centrifugal Pre-Filtration system that is known simply as the MultiCyclone. This system was created to minimize the filter maintenance while also saving water meaning, no filter media to clean or replace. A 2-year warranty is provided for parts and a 1-year warranty for the labor to fix if deemed necessary by the manufacturer. The MultiCyclone also is suitable for new builds and existing installs making it available for everyone that already owns or is planning to own a pool.

What are the Benefits of This System?

The MultiCyclone pre-filters up to 80% of the water that is meant to travel through your filtration system via your pool pump. This was created to ease the workload of this incoming dirt load on your filter, so it no longer must work as hard to filter the water it receives. Installing this pre-filter before a sand filter reduces the backwash frequency to only once a year! This will also result in saving an average of 7,000 liters of water for average-sized bodies of water. If you have a cartridge filter this device will reduce the annual filter cleaning all the way down to once a season and in some cases only once a year depending on the size of the pool and cartridge filter which is huge out here in Arizona. Because of our dry and dusty climate, it is recommended to clean your cartridges every 3 to 4 months. Imagine all the extra time you will now spend enjoying your pool without worrying about having to maintain it so frequently.

Simple Maintenance!

This product can be easily maintained and cleaned by simply opening the purge valve which can be done by anyone not just your pool guy. Only 15 Liters of water is discharged to cleanse itself making it quick and efficient and there are no moving parts to wear and tear. Because this product offers a clear sediment chamber it is easy to see and monitor the buildup of debris and even easier to dispose of it.
