How Does a Salt Cell Work?

The chlorine that is generated will kill both bacteria and algae, making it an effective yet more gentle alternative to chlorine tablets. The cycle repeats itself since the chlorine is converted back to chloride (salt). The salt is utilized continuously, with only a tiny bit lost to backwashing or splash-out.
