Welcome ePoolSupply supporters and followers! We are back to go over how to install the Polaris Tail Sweep Pro. I will also talk about the product and I will add a picture below to show you exactly what you are looking for. At the bottom of the blog, I put a YouTube video our pool professional has made to show you how to do this quick fix. Keep on reading to learn more!

About The Product

The tail sweep Pro (TSP10P) is a replacement part made by Polaris. The same high-grade materials were used for the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product that you can trust. The tail sweep pro is a great added feature and its purpose is to help the sweep hose scrubber whip around the back end of the cleaner to agitate dirt and debris for the cleaner to suck up. It also prevents the sweep hose from spraying any windows or the pool deck while the cleaner performs its tasks.

This part is a darker blue with a scrubber attached to its end making it easy to identify. It's located on the end of the sweep hose making it even easier to locate for removal or replacement when needed. A great troubleshooting tip for this product if the sweep hose is no longer functioning, could be due to the scrubber or strip clip being worn.

How To Remove and Install

The first thing you are going to do is take the whole cleaner out of the pool. You will also need to remove your hoses and make sure your pump is off. This will ensure there is no water shooting everywhere. If you have your scrubber on already, to remove this you will want to simply pull it off. To install the tail sweep, you will want to take the end with the dark blue piece on it and push it right on the hose. This will have clips and you should be able to clip it right on, you will hear a noise. Lastly, make sure you get the pump and cleaner back on to get your pool running properly again. Now when you put the cleaner back in the pool, you are going to have much better water dispersion from the back as well as a better quality scrubber. This install and removal is extremely simple and you should not have any complications with this.

In this video, we show you how to upgrade any of the three-wheeled Polaris pressure-side pool cleaners. This upgrade is meant for the Tail Sweep which actually helps the cleaner by scrubbing and removing dirt and debris from trouble areas like the corners and steps that other cleaners may have trouble reaching.
