ePoolSupply is now utilizing dropshipping for its warehousing needs; what does that mean for the business and its customers? Dropshipping is a method where online retailers depend on off-site warehouses to keep a large variety of products in stock so that the warehouses each work efficiently and effectively, ensuring that the customer receives their products from the warehouse best equipped to serve them and their needs.
How to Dropship with ePoolSupply
Placing an Order
To start, you will begin by simply placing an order exactly the same as you would any other ePoolSupply order. Please be certain all of your information - your address, the account you are using, everything - is correct prior to placing your order; this is best-practice information and will suit you whether you are placing an in-store pickup order or a dropship order. Be advised that we cannot expedite orders shipped through our dropship partners. It will take approximately 24-48 hours for the offsite warehouses to ship your item to you, and while you could see shipping times anywhere from 2-7 business days, many of our customers are seeing a decrease in expected shipping time as the dropshipping process ensures that the product ships from the warehouse closest to your location (and there are warehouses located across the United States of America).
Once You Have Placed Your Order
You will have the ability to cancel your order for approximately 30 minutes after placing said order. Tracking will not be available to us or to you until the order ships from the warehouse (approximately 48 business hours following order placement). Please keep in mind that we will not have instantaneous access to information regarding your order as we are not physically in the warehouse with your product.
Returning Your Product
Please also keep in mind that you are financially responsible for returning your item to the warehouse unless the item was defective upon initial receipt by the customer. You will be responsible for contacting ePoolSupply prior to returning your item as you will need to return your product to the warehouse from which it was originally shipped, and ePoolSupply will help to ensure that this will occur.
