The All New Polaris ATLAS Suction Side Pool Cleaner!

I am here to tell you that they are stepping out of their comfort zone to provide us with an entirely new option as it relates to suction side pool cleaners (and yes, I did say suction side). Now I’m sure by now that you have seen several images of this cleaner or video evidence provided by our favorite pool pros via YouTube (if not check out the video below) so, you may be asking yourself this thing sure does look a lot like the Zodiac MX8. I am here to confirm that the Polaris ATLAS will be replacing the MX8 going forward but do not worry yourself too much as this cleaner will offer some of the same familiar features as the turbines with scrubbers, a tank-like track system for optimal climbing assurance, and sleek clean looking body design but with new added innovative technology. So, if you are already impressed with the purchase, functionality, and overall quality of your Zodiac MX8 then this upgraded suction cleaner will simply blow your expectations away!

The Polaris ATLAS provides unprecedented debris handling via the new advanced HALO technology which can effortlessly eliminate fine silt and sand as well as larger, long debris with an innovative design that features unobstructed clearance to accommodate these different types of debris so it can directly make its way to your filtration system. The active scrubbing that the ATLAS comes equipped with provides spinning brushes that agitate and remove fine, stuck-on debris from your pool’s surface and direct particles towards the suction inlet, resulting in a spotless floor-to-wall cleanse. This cleaner’s dynamic suction power provided by the turbines beneath it generates extreme force providing exceptional climbing capabilities allowing the ATLAS to scrub and clean the floor, walls, and waterline on every pool surface. The multi-directional navigation this pool cleaner offers comes with programmed navigation that ensures complete pool coverage with efficient pattering that enables this cleaner to turn right and/or left to traverse the pool leaving no spots uncleaned. The newly redesigned Tri-Point tracks offer robust treads that will minimize wear and tear extending the longevity of the cleaner’s tracks, providing optimal traction for climbing any pool surface. Not only is this cleaner energy efficient, meaning you do not have to run your pump full blast because of the hydraulic design capable of running at lower flow rates, but it is also designed for longevity due to the Regulator Valve which controls excess water flow to extend the life of the product. Just Like the MX8 Elite, this cleaner offers replaceable scrubbing brushes that are easy to remove and replace when dirty or worn out. For those of you who reside on the east coast, you will still have access to the twist-lock design hoses exclusive to the ATLAS XT while those of us here on the west coast will be offered 39’ of friction-fit hose pieces included with the purchase of this suction-side pool cleaner (ATLAS). Just like most suction-side pool cleaners this one too can be installed and used by inserting a suction cuff inside of your skimmer or by inserting the vac port fitting into the 1.5” vacuum line located along the inside wall of your pool.
