About The Product

The sweep hose scrubber (9-100-3105) is a replacement part made by Polaris. The same high-quality materials were used for the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product. The sweep hose scrubber was designed for the sweep hose assembly and its purpose is to scrub along the bottom of your pool's surface as the cleaner sweep hose whips itself back and forth from the high-pressure water that it disperses. This agitates any dirt, debris, other forms of mulch, and algae that linger around the surface of your pool. This way the cleaner can suck it up and into the super bag. Naturally, the scrubber starts to wear over time and use of the cleaner which ultimately means it will need to be replaced at some point. You can find this part very easily as it is located at the end of the sweep hose.

How To Remove and Replace

You will not need any tools for this, all of this can be done by hand. You will want to take the cleaner out of the pool and make sure there is no water coming to the cleaner. You do not want water to splash all around you. The hose scrubber will be located at the end of the tail sweep. These will need to be replaced regularly, sometimes it is only one or two times a season. To remove the scrubber, all you have to do is pull it right off. To reinstall the hose scrubber, you will need to work it back and forth. You do not want to go too far. It is important not to have the orifice completely shown or else you can ruin the hose and will have to replace that. It should be flushed or indented in a little bit. This quick fix should be super simple and easy. If you have any questions please contact us and we can help you to the best of our ability.
