About The Pentair Racer Pressure Side Cleaner Turn Jet Hose Kit

The Pentair Racer Turn Jet Hose Kit (360256) is a replacement part that is made by Pentair. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. Making them genuine OEM parts that all our customers can trust. This kit is an important piece of the Racer maneuverability system as this kit is responsible for how the cleaner is able to turn itself to either get out of trouble spots and areas or simply to change its cleaning pattern, maximizing the Racer cleaning efforts and radius.

The Jets are controlled with the timer valve which is responsible for dispersing the high-pressure water (also with the help of the water management system) throughout the cleaner and the parts that need it to effectively operate, while also shutting off the water supply to certain parts like the turn jets sending a powerful boost to the opposing side which actually helps turn the cleaner into that direction. This kit comes with a few different parts but also both sides are needed for the turn jet system to operate like the hoses themselves, hose clamps, and finally the timer valve connectors and venturi jets as well. All these parts come color-matched to the cleaner yet all rest inside of the body covers for protection from any outside influence.

How To Remove and Replace Thrust Jets

Before you can remove the thrust jets, you will need to strip the cleaner down to get to the part we are focusing on today. The thrust jets have clips that push up from underneath into the manifold frame. Each jet has its own clip on the top and to take them off you will want a small flathead screwdriver to pop them off. This will only take one side off now you have to take the other side off to get the full thrust jets off. To do this, you have to find the two blue plastic pieces that are in the manifold. You will want to push it to the side and the whole tube should be able to maneuver the tubes right out. To replace the thrust jets, you will need to make sure the end is at the back of the frame. Also, make sure the front end is connected to the timer valve. Now you should be able to reassemble the cleaner.
