Electrical & Installation Information

While the fire glass itself is non-electrical, many Grand Effects fire features integrate automated ignition systems. When pairing with an electronic ignition:

1. Turn off all gas and power before adding or replacing fire glass.

2. Pour glass gently into the burner pan, ensuring even coverage without burying burner ports.

3. Maintain at least 1/2" clearance above burner for optimal flame performance.

4. Do not mix with other materials (lava rock, sand) unless specified by the manufacturer.

5. Test flame height and ignition function after installation.

Pro Tip: For a richer flame effect, occasionally rinse the fire glass with water after the system has cooled to remove soot and dust.
