The ARG BHD219 Heavy Duty Challenger Pump Basket replaces tired, brittle baskets in compatible Challenger-style pool pumps. Installed in the pump pot, this basket is the last line of defense before the impeller, catching what your skimmer baskets miss so it does not end up packed into the volute or plumbing.

Lightweight baskets tend to crack at the bottom or along the sides after a few seasons of being yanked, dumped and reinstalled. Once that happens, debris bypasses the basket completely. The BHD219 uses a heavier-duty design built to handle real-world use, with an open grid that keeps water moving to the pump even as the basket fills.
