The ARG BHD199 Heavy Duty WhisperFlo Pump Basket is built to replace tired, brittle baskets in compatible WhisperFlo-style pump strainer housings. Sitting directly in front of the pump’s impeller, the basket is the last defense against leaves, twigs and other debris that can clog plumbing or damage the pump if they slip through.

Lightweight baskets tend to crack at the bottom or along the sides after a few seasons of being yanked, dumped and reinstalled. When that happens, debris bypasses the basket completely. The BHD199 uses a heavy duty construction intended to survive daily cleaning and real-world abuse much longer. The open grid keeps water moving to the pump even as the basket collects debris, helping to protect the pump without choking off flow between cleanings.
