Description

This durable reducing union provides a strong, reusable seal between 2" and 1.5" plumbing. Its two-piece design compresses the O-ring to resist leaks under vibration and temperature changes, making maintenance faster without cutting pipe.

Pro Tip

Apply a thin film of silicone O-ring lubricant and align straight before tightening to avoid pinching the gasket.

Installation Tips

Use thread sealant or PTFE tape only where threads are present (if applicable). Prime and cement socket connections per PVC instructions. Hand-tighten the union nut; do not over-torque. Keep the O-ring clean and lightly lubricated.
