AquaStar 10-Inch Flat-Grate Suction Cover with Solid Riser and Mud Frame, White | 10AVR101

This listing supplies one white 10-inch round flat-grate suction outlet cover, one solid riser ring, one round mud frame, two #10 × 1¼-inch and two #10 × ¾-inch flat-head Phillips screws in 316 stainless steel. A separate sump is not included.

The current catalog specifies 9½-inch center-to-center mounting holes and an 11-3/16-inch outside diameter for the nominal 10-inch flat-grate family. Verify the complete frame, riser and sump geometry; nominal cover size alone does not establish compatibility.

10AVRxxx supplies the cover, solid riser ring, mud frame and both screw lengths. 10AVRxxxF adds the specified 6-inch socket deep PVC sump and 6-inch NPT plug. 10AVRxxxSSB uses the separate side-port PVC sump with its plug and O-ring arrangement. These are distinct part numbers.

Use the exact 10AVR SOFA row in the manufacturer specifications revised April 2, 2024. For example, the specified floor arrangement with a 2-inch bottom pipe and 3-inch minimum pipe depth is listed at 76 GPM, subject to the full flow-path geometry and installation requirements. A cover diameter or socket size alone does not establish the rating.

The 2026 catalog lists ProStar SCW008 for 10AVRxxx. That replacement kit contains two #10 × 1¼-inch flat-head Phillips screws. The complete illustrated assembly also uses two #10 × ¾-inch flat-head Phillips screws, so SCW008 must not be assumed to supply every fastener in the assembly. Use approved components for the actual mounting arrangement.

AquaStar’s IN021-062724 instructions require replacement of the cover assembly and fasteners within five years of installation, or earlier if damaged. Service life begins when installed, with or without water. Inspect the riser, frame, sump and other components and follow the full maintenance requirements.

10AVR is a blockable suction outlet configuration. New pools and spas require a multiple-SOFA system. Existing single-outlet installations also require the appropriate additional anti-entrapment device or system described in the instructions. Have a qualified pool professional verify the complete system.

This listing supplies one assembly. The current 2026 catalog identifies eight standard cover/riser/frame assemblies per manufacturer case.

AquaStar’s 2026 catalog states a general one-year limited warranty from original installation for defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the complete terms and exclusions. Color fading, improper installation, poor water chemistry and other listed causes are excluded; non-approved components may void coverage. Repair or replacement is at AquaStar’s option.
