I install a lot of pop-ups and have been looking for a good solution for Blue Square pop-ups. The tool is very well made. Fantastic that it is made in 3 pieces, which allows you to install it in the middle of the pool. One drawback is that the holder that grabs the pop-up is not slanted to grip the pop-up. So the pop-up comes off easily. The Blue Square Mfg tool is slightly slanted to grip the pop-up so it does not fall off.
broke on first use. made of cheap metal
i purchased this thinking it was high quality. I was wrong. I was taking off my pop ups to do a routine cleaning of my 30 heads. After about 15 it broke right off from the hook part. Not a lot of force was used either. I am beyond disappointed in the quality. I just purchased the all steel version. Let’s hope it is better than this JUNK!
Please take my advice and DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. You will regret it. I wish I could upload a picture to this review.
Nicely machined tool, makes removal of the q360 heads simple
