Hayward AquaTrol Above-Ground Salt Chlorine Generator | W3AQ-TROL-HP-TL
No. Salt chlorination converts dissolved salt into chlorine. Continue testing sanitizer, pH and the other water-balance values specified in the manual. Match the system’s rated capacity and chlorine output to pool volume, circulation time and sanitizer demand. Ratings do not guarantee adequate production under every operating condition. Inspect it as directed and clean only when required by the manufacturer. Use the exact cell’s procedure rather than applying another model’s cleaning instructions. Hayward lists 1-year parts coverage for W3AQ-TROL-HP-TL. Labor coverage is not listed. Eligibility and exclusions are subject to the applicable Hayward warranty terms. Use the manufacturer downloads on this page for setup, operation and maintenance. Additional exact-model resources are available on Hayward’s product support page. This listing is for Hayward W3AQ-TROL-HP-TL. Match the complete model number before ordering; a similar model name does not establish identical fit, features or warranty.Product FAQs

Hayward AquaTrol Above-Ground Salt Chlorine Generator | W3AQ-TROL-H...
Description
Description
Generate chlorine from pool salt
Hayward W3AQ-TROL-HP-TL is the AquaTrol salt-chlorination system for above-ground pools. It uses dissolved salt to generate chlorine during suitable circulation, helping you manage sanitizer output while continuing regular testing and water-balance care.
Why choose this model?
Chlorine from dissolved salt
The system generates chlorine; it does not create a chlorine-free pool or remove the need for balanced water.
Adjust sanitizer production
Set output and circulation time to the pool’s actual chlorine demand, then confirm results through testing.
Choose the installation type
Match the model’s control, cell and connection arrangement to the pool instead of assuming every salt-system package installs the same way.
Before you order
This is the hose/pipe-fitting installation version with twist-lock electrical connections. Confirm pool volume, expected sanitizer demand, cell configuration and installation requirements with your pool professional. Review the exact package contents and any separately required equipment before ordering.
