• Energy Transfer:
• The impeller’s curved blades accelerate the water, converting mechanical energy from the motor into kinetic energy.
• This increases the velocity of the water as it passes through the impeller blades.
• Pressure Generation:
• The high-speed water is directed into the pump housing (volute), where its velocity is reduced, converting kinetic energy into pressure energy.
• This pressurized water is expelled through the pump outlet for circulation or filtration.
• Screw Attachment:
• The impeller is securely mounted to the motor shaft using a screw, ensuring a stable connection during high-speed rotation. This design minimizes vibration and reduces wear on the pump and motor components.
