The Hayward IDXLBKP1135 KIT-BEZEL & KEYPAD ASSY ABG135 is the user interface for controlling and monitoring Hayward H-Series 135,000 BTU pool heaters. It combines the bezel, the protective casing, and the keypad, which allows users to adjust settings and view system status. 

• User Input:

  • The keypad has buttons that allow users to adjust temperature, turn the heater on or off, and navigate system settings.
  • When a button is pressed, the keypad sends an electrical signal to the heater’s control board.

• Signal Processing:

  • The control board interprets these signals and adjusts the heater's components, such as the ignitor, gas valve, and blower, to achieve the desired temperature.

• Status Display:

  • The bezel houses an LED or digital display that shows key information, such as current water temperature, set temperature, error codes, and system status.
  • If there’s a malfunction (like a pressure switch failure or ignition issue), the display will show an error code for trouble shooting.

• Safety and Monitoring:

  • The keypad assembly works with sensors to monitor temperature, pressure, and ignition status.
  • If unsafe conditions are detected, the control board will shut down the heater and display an error code.

• Weather and Heat Resistance:

  • The bezel is designed to withstand outdoor conditions, protecting the internal electronics from moisture, heat, and physical damage.
