SC-1000 is an environmentally friendly chelating agent that effectively binds to metals and minerals. It is ideal for pool startups and can also be used for ongoing maintenance to help prevent carbonate scale formation and metal oxidation or staining. SC-1000 is phosphate-free. Due to its commitment to environmentally friendly chemical technology, SC-1000’s formulation received the Environmental Protection Agency’s Presidential Green Chemistry Award.

• When used as directed, SC-1000 controls metal staining and scale while being fully compatible with pool and spa construction materials and other treatment chemicals.
• Aids in dissolving existing scale in pool heaters, salt chlorine generators, and other equipment.
