Description

This service bundle covers common wear items—but for different Hayward filter lines. Use ULTRA-A2-PAK4 on SwimClear (cartridge) systems to refresh media and flow. Use O-429 on Pro-Grid (DE) systems to reseal the tank halves after teardown. Check the label on your filter body before ordering.

Pro Tip

SwimClear needs four cartridges; replace as a set. Pro-Grid DE requires the correct clamp O-ring style—standard O-429 (DEX2400K) vs. the 2009 metal-reinforced ring (DEX2422Z2). Lubricate O-rings lightly with silicone.

Installation Tips

Match components to the correct filter body. For SwimClear: shut down, relieve pressure, clean tank, install all four cartridges. For Pro-Grid DE: depressurize, open clamp, replace O-ring without twisting, clamp evenly, recharge with DE per manual. Use silicone lube sparingly on O-rings.
