Description

The Pentair 273090Z O-ring is the correct replacement seal for Pentair 2" PVC slide valve models 261047 and 261165. It measures 1.5" inside diameter by 3/16" diameter and is used in pairs inside the valve assembly. When the original seals are worn, leaking, or flattened, replacing them with the correct Pentair O-rings helps restore proper slide valve operation.

Pro Tip

If the slide valve is already apart, inspect the piston shaft and other valve O-rings before reassembly. Replacing one seal will not solve the issue if the piston shaft or nearby seals are also worn.

Installation Tips

Shut the pump off and relieve all system pressure before valve service. Confirm the valve model is 261047 or 261165, clean the sealing surfaces, replace both required O-rings, and lubricate with pool-safe silicone lubricant only.
