The Pentair 271168Z is the 2" gray HiFlow valve diffuser for Pentair/PacFab top-mount and side-mount multiport valves. Pentair parts catalogs also refer to this part as a 2" valve diverter, so both names may appear in parts diagrams and retail listings. This is an internal valve replacement part, not a full top assembly or complete valve. Use it when the original diffuser/diverter is worn, damaged, or no longer directing flow correctly inside the valve body.

Pro Tip

Inspect the 2" valve top O-ring and valve cover while the valve is apart. Replacing only the diffuser/diverter will not solve leaks caused by a flattened O-ring or damaged lid.
