Description

The Pentair A&A Tan Deck Lid & Ring (542520) is the factory replacement cover set for 7.5" A&A in-deck systems. It is sized to drop straight into the original opening and tie back into the canister collar, protecting the access point for Quik DekClor, DekChlor, QuikWater and WhiSpa hardware without changing the deck layout.

When the original lid cracks, fades or no longer sits flat, this OEM tan assembly restores a solid, flush cover that matches the system the way it shipped from A&A/Pentair. The plastic construction is built to handle UV, weather and pool chemistry in exposed deck installs, so you are not redoing the same lid again next season.

Pro Tip

Before you bolt the new ring down, clean the canister collar and check all screw holes. Replace rusted or stripped screws with appropriate stainless hardware and make sure the collar itself is not warped. A good lid will still rock and crack if it is sitting on a twisted or damaged collar.

Installation Tips

Shut the system off before working around any in-deck canister. Remove the old lid and ring, then carefully pry the ring out to avoid chipping plaster or deck material. Clean the collar and surrounding surface, dry-fit the new ring to confirm it sits flat, and secure with appropriate stainless screws. Install the lid and confirm it sits flush and does not rock under normal foot traffic; avoid concentrated point loads directly on the lid to prevent cracking over time.
