Pentair Kreepy Krauly SandShark Chassis with Pad (41201-0242W)

The chassis with the pad are replacement parts that are made by Pentair. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. Making them genuine OEM products.

The chassis is the main housing unit for all the internal parts like the steering kit, clutch kit, gear kit, and oscillator kit but, also holds the outer housing and bumper into place as well. The cool feature about this part is that it comes with the bottom pad which has rubber bristles that help the cleaner move along the pool surface as the bristles agitate and clean the dirt and algae from the pool.

The bristle pad is white while the SandShark chassis is black and comes with pre-installed weights that are a copper color and help weigh the cleaner down yet provide balance to the SandShark as it operates. The pad also attaches to the bottom edges of the outer housing looking it into place, however, this part can wear and deteriorate over a length of time and the use of the cleaner. It is very easy to remove and replace or simply gain access to the internals for troubleshooting.
