Pentair ScreenLogic2 Automation Interface | EC-522104

Pentair EC-522104 is a ScreenLogic2 interface for compatible EasyTouch and IntelliTouch automation systems. It adds a connection between the existing automation controls and supported ScreenLogic software so you can manage connected pool functions from a compatible device.

What the interface adds

ScreenLogic makes functions already supported by your installed automation system available through its software. The available equipment controls depend on how that system is wired and configured. An interface does not add extra heater capacity, chemical dosing or unsupported equipment functions.

Plan the network and equipment connection

Identify the automation panel, router location and communication path before ordering. The protocol adapter’s Ethernet connection and the link to the outdoor automation panel perform different jobs. Confirm the complete kit contents and any additional wireless-link hardware or cable needed for your installation.

Setup and ongoing support

Use Pentair’s installation instructions to connect and configure the interface. Check current ScreenLogic software and adapter-update guidance before commissioning older hardware. This interface is intended for EasyTouch and IntelliTouch. Do not assume that ScreenLogic2 is the controller for IntelliCenter or a universal Wi-Fi adapter for standalone pumps. Verify the installed automation family before selecting the interface.

Does it connect directly to a standalone pump?

It is an interface for supported automation systems. A pump by itself is not a substitute for the required automation equipment.

Is a phone’s Wi-Fi connection the same as the adapter connection?

No. A mobile device can use the network, while the protocol adapter connects to the router by Ethernet. The outdoor-panel communication path must also be correctly installed.

Which pool functions can I access?

Supported functions depend on the existing automation configuration and connected equipment. Confirm heating, lighting, pump and water-feature controls during setup.
