Description

The Pentair 170099 Separation Bag Assembly is the filter bag used inside SEP 100 D.E. separation tanks. During backwashing, the separation tank relies on a large cloth-style bag to collect D.E. and the dirt trapped in it. When that bag is damaged or worn out, separation performance drops off fast. This replacement is the correct OEM part for bringing the tank back to proper working condition without guessing on fit.

Pro Tip

Inspect the tank hardware, sight glass, and related seals while replacing the bag. A fresh bag will not fix leaks or worn hardware elsewhere in the separation tank assembly.

Installation Tips

Shut the system down fully before service. Confirm the tank model is SEP 100, inspect the bag seating area for debris or damage, and reinstall the replacement bag carefully to avoid twisting or pinching it during reassembly.
