The side-mount configuration allows custom valve selection to match your plumbing layout. With a heavy-duty closure, swing-away diffuser, threaded internals, and combined sand/water drain, maintenance is streamlined. Note that this model ships without a valve—select a compatible multiport or slide valve separately.

Choose a properly sized valve (2" or 1.5") to match your plumbing and use 600 lb of quality filter-grade sand. Always relieve system pressure before removing the lid. Consider upgrading your valve while installing—the parts are easier to integrate when open.

Installation Tips
