Hayward ProSeries 30-Inch Sand Filter | W3S310S
Use the filter-sand grade and quantity specified in Hayward’s manual. Do not substitute an unapproved media or assume a different model’s sand charge applies. Match the circulation-system flow and expected debris load to the filter’s ratings, then check service space and connection sizes. A pool’s gallon capacity alone does not determine the complete selection. Establish the clean operating pressure after setup and follow Hayward’s pressure-rise and maintenance instructions. Cleaning frequency changes with debris load, bathing use and water conditions. No. A compatible filter valve is a separate selection for this model. Confirm valve type and plumbing before ordering. Hayward lists 1-year parts coverage for W3S310S. Labor coverage is not listed. Eligibility and exclusions are subject to the applicable Hayward warranty terms. Use the manufacturer downloads on this page for setup, operation and maintenance. Additional exact-model resources are available on Hayward’s product support page. This listing is for Hayward W3S310S. Match the complete model number before ordering; a similar model name does not establish identical fit, features or warranty.Product FAQs

Hayward ProSeries 30-Inch Sand Filter | W3S310S
Description
Description
Choose the right filtration capacity
The Hayward ProSeries W3S310S uses a bed of filter sand to collect dirt from circulating pool water. It suits pool owners who prefer a sand-media system with backwashing as part of regular filter care.
Why choose this model?
Sand-media filtration
Water passes through the media bed, which traps dirt until the filter needs cleaning.
Backwash-based care
Use the correct valve settings and the manufacturer’s procedure when backwashing; the pump must be off before changing valve position.
Configuration matters
Check the valve arrangement, plumbing connections and required media before planning a replacement.
Before you order
This configuration includes the Not Included valve. Have your pool professional check design flow, plumbing connections, working pressure and clearance for servicing. Filter ratings describe the filter; they do not guarantee the flow delivered by your pump.
