Description

The Pentair 5-Port Ball Valve Cam (SKU 230061) is a key component in the internal mechanism of A&A/Pentair 5-Port Top Feed in-floor cleaning valves. As the gear plate rotates, this cam lifts each “T-valve” flap in turn, allowing the large acrylic balls to open the correct outlet port and maintain even cleaning coverage. Over time, the cam may wear, deform or crack under pressure or mis-alignment, causing uneven flow, skipped zones or valve failure. Replacing it restores smooth flap motion, improves valve longevity, and stabilizes performance — reinforcing the durable functioning of the valve assembly under pool pressure stress.
