Not impressed with the quality

Everything was fine except the white valve did not seal the lid when closed. So, I had to re-engineer it so water did not shoot out of it. I know that it is one where you can unscrew it and screw it back in but I was not able to even get it out. When I epoxied it, it was fine but it was not something I would purchase again because it was defective until I re-engineered it. I didn't have time to let the company know because I needed the replacement immediately. So, it is not the fault of the company because I didn't tell them but I should have been able to install it without any issue. That was not the case.
