T-Valve Installation & Removal Tool Set - Pentair In-Floor(A&A) | 235090

Pentair In-Floor(A&A) t-valve installation and removal tool set come equipped with an Extractor, Seat Protection Disc, and a T-Valve Installation Tool.

This tool can only be used when all internal components (impeller, 2 shims, gear plate, anti-friction washers, and center shaft) are removed. Once all parts have been taken out, insert the extractor under the T-Valve and pry the flap out of the valve seat by rocking the extractor tool rearward.

To reinstall the flaps, first, place the Seat Protection Disc in the bottom of the housing by aligning the pin with the center shaft hole in the valve bottom. Failure to do so will result in damage to the valve seats and the T-Valve assembly. Secondly, place the pin of the T-Valve assembly into the notches in the housing and allow the front of the T-Valve to rest on the Seat Protection Disc. Place the forked end of the Installation Tool on the pins resting in the notches. Using a rubber mallet, firmly strike the top of the Installation Tool to drive the pins down into the grooves until they are fully seated. Always test the flap to make sure it raises and lowers freely.
