Description:
The Bio‑Dex Aqua Pure Algaecide (32 oz) is a high-performance copper-quat formula designed to eliminate all common types of pool algae—including green, mustard, blue-green, and resistant strains. Unlike many copper-based algaecides, Aqua Pure helps prevent copper staining with its stabilized formulation.

This product works in conjunction with standard halogen sanitizers—perfect for routine pool maintenance. Use a full quart per 20,000 gallons if the pool shows visible algae, followed 30 minutes later by chlorine shock. For secondary prevention, a 4-ounce maintenance dose every other week helps maintain algae-free water throughout the swim season. The filter should remain operational for 48 hours during treatment, and regular brushing and backwashing are advised.

Always ensure pool chlorine levels are ≥1 ppm before reopening, and maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.6 for best results. Aqua Pure is non-corrosive at use dilution, making it safe for surfaces and equipment when applied properly.
