Hayward AquaNaut 200 400 & 450 Shaft Retainer White Plastic (PVXS0007) 

The shaft retainer (white plastic) is a replacement part that was made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

This retainer was created to help keep the shafts for both the small drive gears and the longer turbine/gear reduction shaft tight and in place in their mounting points along the lower body. Without this part, these shafts and gears would be far too loose and could potentially become knocked out of position, ultimately disrupting the entire cleaning process.

The retainer is white and can be found in the center of the cleaner on its right side after removing the handle and upper body to expose the suction cleaners’ internal parts.
