Match the complete installation
Have a qualified pool professional match the exact cover, sump, fasteners, port layout, system flow and installation revision before fitting this product. Follow the complete manufacturer instructions for the installed assembly.
Flow ratings depend on the exact assembly and installation. A catalog part number or matching color alone does not verify the installed system.
Inspection matters
If a suction cover is missing, loose, cracked or damaged, keep the pool or spa out of use until the affected assembly has been properly repaired. Use the specified replacement parts and fasteners; do not substitute a similar-looking cover.
Read the manufacturer manual in Resources before installation. This description does not replace its warnings, flow tables or maintenance instructions.
The CMP Nova™ Series was developed to meet and exceed the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act (VGBA) standards for pool suction outlets. This 2-port design offers contractors and pool owners enhanced flexibility and flow management, combined with a flush-mounted Nova cover engineered for maximum entrapment prevention. The gray color option is popular for blending into darker pool interiors, ensuring both safety and aesthetic appeal.
