The Pentair TA 40D Tagelus Top Mount Sand Filter is engineered for ease of use and longevity. Its seamless fiberglass tank construction resists cracking and corrosion, eliminating seam failures. Internally it uses a diffuser and lateral system to evenly direct flow through the media, improving trapping efficiency and prolonging filter cycles. The six‑position Hi‑Flow multiport valve centralizes all filtration commands—filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate, closed—at the top for quick access. A combined water and sand drain speeds servicing or winterization without extra disassembly.
