The feed hose is a genuine OEM replacement part manufactured by Pentair, constructed using the same high-quality materials as the original factory component. Designed specifically for use in Pentair Legend pressure-side cleaner systems, this section of the hose assembly plays a key role in maintaining optimal cleaner performance.

Unlike the soft, flexible portion of the feed hose that connects to the feed mast and backup valve, this segment is made from a rigid plastic-rubber composite. Its firmer structure provides stability and durability while still allowing for proper movement as the cleaner operates.

This hose section is engineered to float just beneath the surface of the water — aided by hose floats — helping prevent tangles or drag that could interfere with cleaning coverage. It’s also easily identifiable: solid white and firmer than the clear, softer portion of the hose, making it simple to distinguish during installation or replacement.

This rigid hose connects to the hose swivel, which is attached to the adapter hose (8.5 inches) — both components work in unison with the pressure relief valve and wall fitting to ensure consistent water flow and reliable cleaner motion.
