Which pump models use 356365Z?
Pentair lists this kit for IntelliFlo3 VSF 1.5 HP (011065, 011066) and 3.0 HP (011075, 011076), plus Sta-Rite IntelliPro3 VSF 1.5 HP (013065, 013066, 013067, 013068) and 3.0 HP (013075, 013076, 013077, 013078). Models supplied with an I/O board already have this functionality. Match your pump’s model label; fitment is not established here for other pump families.
What is included in this kit?
One relay control board assembly, including the low-voltage terminal and retaining screw shown in Pentair’s kit instructions. The pump, optional touchscreen, external control wiring and equipment connected to the relays are separate.
What can the two relays control?
They switch suitable equipment such as pool lights or a salt chlorinator; the higher-current relay can support an appropriate booster pump. Maximum current is 5 A at the left relay block and 16 A at the right. The installer must check each load and supply against the manual and equipment labels.
How do the digital inputs control pump programs?
An external control can trigger four configured speed or flow programs. If multiple inputs are active, priority is program 4, then 3, 2 and 1. Pentair’s current pump guide instructs installers to delete app or touchscreen schedules when using digital-input control.
Does the +12 V output power other pool equipment?
VOUT is a trigger signal for the board’s own digital inputs through an external switch. It is not a general-purpose equipment power supply, and Pentair warns never to connect VOUT to a voltage supply. Relay switching does not transform one voltage into another.
Is this the same as a touchscreen or full automation system?
No. This kit adds relay and digital-input connections. The touchscreen is a separate accessory; the pump’s app and RS-485 control capabilities are separate features. Choose the required control method and wiring using the pump and automation manuals.
What matters before installation?
Have a qualified pool service professional install and wire the board. Disconnect power at the circuit breaker and observe Pentair’s minimum 60-second stored-charge wait before opening the wiring compartment. Follow the complete kit and pump instructions and applicable electrical codes.
What warranty applies to an online purchase?
Pentair’s current ecommerce policy provides one-year parts-only coverage from purchase, subject to its terms and exclusions. Online purchases do not qualify for the three-year bundle warranty. Installing this board does not extend the pump’s warranty. Read Pentair’s current warranty policy.

The Pentair 356365Z relay control board kit adds digital-input control and two equipment-switching relays to IntelliFlo3 VSF and Sta-Rite IntelliPro3 VSF 1.5 HP and 3.0 HP pumps. Use it to add the optional board or replace the matching assembly.
