Pool popups are a terrible idea

I have a salt water pool, and it's well maintained, but these pop-ups do not last very long. They start to get stuck and they do not go all the way down. Once they stop going down, they don't spin. So they go up and halfway down. So my recommendation is buy a pool robot and drill out the pop-ups in the middle, so that water flows back into the pool. Because two of them are stuck down, causing excessive pressure.In my filter housing
