Confirm Your Retrofit Application

• Confirm that the existing system uses the A&A Style 1 fitting and the matching RetroClean configuration.
• Match the standard nozzle configuration and White color; a similar-looking head is not sufficient to establish fit.
• RetroClean models are made for specific retrofit applications. They are not universal replacements for all Caretaker, Pool Valet, TurboClean or QuikClean fittings.
• This is a Caretaker replacement head for the matching older A&A Style 1 fitting. The original Style 1 head-removal tool does not fit the Caretaker replacement head.

Tool Selection and Service

For the Caretaker replacement head, we recommend the HammerTech Solutions All Metal Caretaker Tool | HTS-Caretaker, sold separately. It can be used by hand or with a standard pool pole. The tool needed to remove the original A&A head may be different.

Shut off the pump and prevent automatic restart before servicing. Inspect the fitting, seals and head for damage or debris.
