Caretaker 99 Bayonet Pop-Up Head (Light Gray) | 3-9-507

One Light Gray bayonet replacement cleaning head. The collar, nozzle insert and removal tool are sold separately.

This head uses a bayonet connection. Older threaded Caretaker heads have a different attachment and must be identified before selecting a replacement. Confirm the existing fitting style as well as the part number.

Use the size specified by the pool cleaning plan or the correctly sized insert being replaced. Color does not determine nozzle size. These standard inserts are separate purchases; a high-flow head uses a different configuration.

Turn off the pump and prevent an automatic restart before removing the head. The head must be fully down. Engage the proper head tool, release the bayonet head counterclockwise and lift it out. Reinstall clockwise. Do not force a damaged head or collar.

Debris in the head, nozzle or collar and a problem with flow to the cleaning zone can affect operation. Use the Caretaker Owner's Manual troubleshooting section before assuming the head needs replacement. If several heads are affected, inspect the system rather than replacing every head. Work beyond routine owner maintenance requires a qualified pool professional.
