Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 Float, Feed Hose (9-100-1206)

The float (feed hose) is a replacement part made by Polaris. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The hose float was built for the cleaner's hose system that takes the water from the dedicated return line, which is powered by a booster pump and disperses the water into the cleaner. This gives it the power to suck and pull dirt and debris off your pool's surface. Without this float the hose would fall to the depths of your pool, weighing your cleaner down and would cause impediments throughout the surface. 

This float is white and strategically placed throughout the length of the hose’s assembly. This helps to keep it above the water and from being tangled up which would cause disruption for the cleaner. A great troubleshooting tip, if the hose continues to get tangled, is to first check the backup valve and whether it is operating correctly. If that’s not the issue then it may be due to the placement of the hose float. You can fix this by moving the float directly behind the backup valve which should resolve the issue and allow the hose to be tangle-free.
