Pro Tip

Remove the internal piston assembly before gluing the socket connections to avoid adhesive seizing the piston in place. After installing, verify the “Filter” and “Backwash” positions operate smoothly and the waste line is correctly oriented. Replace worn O-rings while you’re inside to avoid future leaks.

Installation Tips

Turn off the pump and relieve system pressure before removing the old valve. Align the new valve body so port C and D match tank coupling orientation (per manufacturer instructions). Solvent-cement the 2″ socket connections (bottom waste port and inlet/outlet). Allow full cure before re-installing the piston assembly. Confirm smooth push/pull handle movement and correct flow direction in Filter/Backwash positions.
