Hayward 40 Mesh SSTL Basket for 4" SB Strainer Line BS7404 stainless steel (SSTL) 40-mesh basket designed for use in Hayward 4-inch SB series strainers. 

1. Filtration Purpose: The 40-mesh basket acts as a filter by capturing particles from the water flow, preventing debris from moving downstream. A 40-mesh screen has approximately 40 openings per inch, suitable for filtering out medium to fine particles.

2. Stainless Steel Construction: Made of stainless steel, this basket is highly durable, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for use in environments where it may be exposed to water, chemicals, or high temperatures.

3. Basket Design: The basket shape maximizes surface area, increasing filtration capacity and reducing pressure drop. This design allows the strainer to catch more debris before requiring maintenance.
