Description

The SPECK BADUStream II turns a properly designed pool into a dedicated swim-in-place training area. Two flush-mounted jet housings produce a wide, adjustable current powered by the included 21-80/33GS 4 THP pump. The system is rated for up to 400 GPM at 14 PSI, giving recreational and fitness swimmers a consistent current without requiring a full-length lap pool.

Each nozzle can be aimed and adjusted to improve body position in the current. Integrated air regulators add bubbles and change the feel of the water stream. The square anti-entrapment covers maintain a clean, low-profile appearance with no projecting jet assembly inside the swimming area.

The included Wi-Fi control box provides GFCI protection and works with the BADUConnect app for remote on/off control and scheduling. This is a dedicated SwimJet system and must not be connected to the pool filtration circuit.

Installation and Safety

• Installation must be completed by a qualified pool professional and licensed electrician in accordance with current codes.
• Use a dedicated suction and return circuit with at least 4-inch plumbing. Use 6-inch pipe when the pump is more than 30 feet from the jet housings.
• Provide a dedicated 208–230V, single-phase electrical supply and manufacturer-specified 40-amp protection.
• Do not connect the SwimJet plumbing to the pool filtration system.
• Mount the housings only in a vertical pool wall and never in a seating area or backrest.
• Never operate the system with a loose, damaged or missing anti-entrapment cover.
• Test the control-box GFCI before each use and follow all grounding and bonding requirements.

Pro Tip

During commissioning, aim both nozzles slightly inward and upward so the streams meet approximately four feet in front of the wall. This creates a more centered current and reduces side-to-side drift.
