One catalog-listed inside pipe cutter complete with a 1½-inch blade. A drill/drive unit, return fitting and pool plumbing are separate.

For the matched internal pipe-cutting application in Jandy/Caretaker installation work. The current TC3 installation sheet specifically identifies 5-17-4 for its illustrated 1½-inch return-line preparation. Match the required blade and tool interface before use.

The separately listed 1½-inch replacement blade is 1-17-2; the 2-inch replacement blade 1-17-3 is a different catalog size. Verify mounting before any blade substitution.

In the illustrated TC3 installation, after the 1½-inch return line is plumbed and pressure-tested, cut it flush with the wall and use this cutter to set the pipe 5/8 inch behind the shell surface. That setback is specific to the TC3 installation, not a tool body dimension or a universal cutting depth. Use a qualified installer and follow TL-1317 D in full.
