One catalog-listed RetroClean installation tool. Cleaning head, original fitting and complete in-floor system are separate items.

The manufacturer tool table specifically lists this RetroClean installation tool for TurboClean. Match the original floor fitting and actual replacement head before selecting a tool. Do not substitute a generic bayonet head tool or infer that a tool for the replacement head also removes the original manufacturer’s fitting.

Other separately listed Turbo-Clean head configurations are 4-9-2004, 4-9-2005, 4-9-2008, 4-9-2009. Match the specific configuration rather than treating these as automatic substitutes.

Stop the pump, prevent automatic restart and relieve system pressure before service. Identify both the original floor fitting and the installed RetroClean replacement before selecting a removal tool or turning direction. Follow the instructions supplied for the specific retrofit assembly; do not transfer a generic bayonet or pre-1992 threaded-head procedure to a different fitting. Inspect for damage and debris, then check the serviced zone’s operation after correct reassembly.

Jandy’s separate In-Floor limited warranty states one year for manufacturing defects and 90 days for purchased replacement parts, subject to the full certified-design, qualified-installation, first-purchaser/original-site and other conditions. The conditional lifetime provision for eligible original cleaning heads with Jandy In-Floor valves does not automatically give a purchased retrofit head, tool or O-ring lifetime coverage. Coverage is for the 50 United States and Canada; shipping and labor are excluded. Property transfer or remodeling ends coverage as described in the statement.
