Caretaker Vinyl Collar Spanner Wrench — Pre-1996 Pools | 3-17-6

3-17-6: Vinyl collars on pools built before 1996.

One catalog-listed vinyl collar spanner wrench. Collar, cleaning head and pool pole are separate.

The 2026 manufacturer table limits this vinyl-collar wrench to the matched collars on pools built before 1996. Verify the actual collar style and construction date. This is not a universal tool for newer VinylCare fittings, TC3 returns or every in-floor head.

Match the actual tool assembly, component position and exact part number before ordering. Similar tool names do not establish interchangeable blades, pilots or adapters.

Stop and isolate the pool system before service. Use a qualified pool professional and the specific tool/assembly instructions. Verify the installed fitting and tool setup before cutting or removing components; no universal torque, drill-speed or cutting-depth setting applies.

Jandy’s separate In-Floor limited warranty distinguishes one-year manufacturing-defect coverage from 90-day coverage for purchased replacement parts, subject to the exact product category, certified-design, qualified-installation, first-purchaser/original-site and other conditions. Cleaning-head lifetime provisions do not automatically cover tools, blades, pilots or adapters. See the full statement for eligibility, the 50 United States/Canada scope, shipping and labor exclusions, and property-transfer/remodeling limits.

The 2026 manufacturer tool table and union reference, page 126, identify the ordering codes. The manufacturer installation reference provides the applicable system guidance. Blade/pilot mounting, drill setup and unsupported interchangeability must be verified for the specific tool. See the Jandy In-Floor limited warranty for its conditions.
