The Hayward IDXLCPA1930 Control Bezel Assembly is part of the Hayward H-Series Low NOx Induced Draft Heaters. It serves as the user interface, allowing you to control and monitor the heater’s functions, such as temperature adjustments and system diagnostics.

• Powering On & Initialization:
• When the heater is turned on, the control bezel assembly powers up and runs a diagnostic check to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
• The display lights up, showing key information such as the current water temperature and operational status.
• Temperature Control & Adjustments:
• The user can increase or decrease the temperature setting using the keypad.
• The control bezel sends this data to the main circuit board of the heater, which adjusts the burner and gas valve accordingly to heat the water to the desired temperature.
• System Monitoring & Diagnostics:
• The control panel monitors critical heater functions, water flow, gas ignition, and pressure levels.
• If there’s an issue, such as low water pressure or a failure to ignite the burner, the control panel will display an error code to help diagnose the problem.
• Error Alerts & Troubleshooting:
• The control bezel assembly will show an error message or code on the screen. This helps technicians or users identify and fix the problem quickly.
• Common error codes may indicate issues like temperature sensors malfunctioning, blocked vents, or ignition problems.
• Shut-Off & Safety Features:
• Once the set temperature is reached, the control bezel shuts off the gas valve.
• The system may also activate a "post-purge" cycle to ensure no excess combustion gases are left inside the unit.
