Description

The YS00150TU from Hayward’s YS lineup combines **durability** and ease of inspection. Made with clear PVC, it resists chemical degradation while letting you see internal debris buildup. The union construction allows the removal of the strainer body without cutting the pipe. Internally, the 1/32″ perforated basket traps debris before it reaches pumps or instrumentation, and the FPM O-ring ensures repeatable sealing through maintenance cycles. Installation Tips

Confirm flow arrow orientation. Use appropriate thread sealant on NPT threads. Avoid overtightening union nuts (this can damage the O-ring). In vertical installs, orient the strainer cap downward so debris settles in the chamber away from the screen opening.
