Description

The Hayward 1-1/2″ PVC True-Union Y-Strainer (YS10150TU) is built for durable service in aggressive environments. Its injection-molded PVC body resists corrosion, UV, and chemical exposure. The true-union threaded ends allow quick access for cleaning without cutting into plumbing. Inside, the included 1/32″ perforated screen protects downstream equipment by catching debris. The FPM O-ring maintains sealing integrity through repeated maintenance. With a 150 psi non-shock rating at 70 °F, it delivers reliable performance with minimal pressure drop.

Pro Tip

Always have a spare 1/32″ screen for maintenance swaps. To simplify servicing, place a true-union PVC ball valve upstream to shut off flow before exposing the strainer.

Installation Tips
