Hayward AquaBug/Penguin/Wanda the Whale/Diver Dave Flap Kit, White (2 Flaps, front, and Rear)

The flap kit (2 flaps, front, and rear) are replacement parts that are made by Hayward. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. This makes them genuine OEM parts that all our customers can trust.

The flap kit was designed to help create that suction needed for the cleaner to pick up dirt and other various forms of debris off the surface of the pool. These flaps have been given the ability to move up and down to conform to the surface as the cleaner is making its way across. This way there is no loss in suction, and it can grab whatever debris lays beneath. However, if the vinyl is not flat along the pool surface it will create suction problems for this area and will need to be fixed before the cleaner can effectively clean its surface.

These parts are white with the Hayward logo on the top side with little tabs on the outside so that way they can snap in place onto the open lower body near the pod kits. They also have grooves on the backside where the springs are to be installed that helps the movement of the flaps, which are also tagged as to which one goes on the front side of the cleaner as well as the rear.
